(Serves 4 People)


  • 2 Cuban BBQ sachets
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 courgette
  • Metal or wood skewers

  • For a vegetarian meal use haloumi cheese rather than meat.
  • If using wooden skewers soak in water for 5 mins first to avoid burning

  1. Chop onion into wedges, peppers into squares and slice courgette into chunks .

  2. Cut chicken into similar size pieces, removing any fat.

  3. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with Cuban BBQ marinade.

  4. Push skewer through yellow pepper, then a piece of meat, courgette, meat, onion, meat and red pepper.

  5. Repeat process until all items are used.

  6. Place skewers under a grill, in an oven or BBQ turning occasionally.

  7. Serve with rice and salad.
